CSMA Mentorship

CSMA Mentorship Program

The CSMA Mentorship Program is a 12-week program, structured to pair CSMAs who want to accelerate skill growth and share best practices with an experienced CSMA. The program runs for 12 weeks with weekly 30-minute 1:1 sessions and covers five core focus areas: customer relationship management, strategic planning, technical skills, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration.

For mentees

If you have just completed your onboarding, your onboarding buddy can help you get matched with a mentor and get your mentorship issue set up in the program epic. Participation is optional but highly recommended as a natural next step following onboarding graduation.

If you are already onboarded and interested in participating in a mentorship program with another CSMA, reach out to your manager to get matched with a mentor.

Once you have a mentor, create your mentorship project:

1. Go to the CS Training Programs subgroup
2. Click Create Project
3. Click Create from template
4. Click Group
5. Next to CS Mentorship, click Use Template
6. Title the project [Your Name] Mentorship
7. Read the README.md and follow along!

For mentors

1. Review the mentorship program structure with your mentee and help them understand how it connects to their ongoing development.
2. Ensure there is a mentorship project created using the project template.
3. Use the weekly issue structure to guide your check-in conversations — each week has a natural theme to discuss.
