Meetings
M-Staff
- What: A meeting for EMs covering management focused topics such as organizational design, staffing, performance management
- Why: Foster organizational alignment, collaboration among EM first team.
- Who: Engineering Managers, Director
- When: Weekly - Tuesdays 15:30UTC - 30 minutes
L-Staff
- What: Domain specific cross-functional meetings (mini L-Staffs)
- Why: Efficient decision making, unblocking, and alignment across product and engineering leadership
- Who: Product managers, Staff+ Engineers, Engineering Managers, Director
- When:
- Cells and Organizations: Weekly - Tuesdays 16:30UTC - 30 minutes, Fortnightly (APAC/AMER) - Wednesdays 23:30UTC - 30 minutes
- Git and Gitaly: TBD
- Groups, Projects, Teams: Weekly - Thursdays 16:30UTC - 30 minutes
- Geo: Weekly - Thursdays 17:30UTC - 30 minutes
Protocells Standup
- What: A weekly review of progress and blockers on Protocells workstreams and dependencies.
- Why: Provide accountability, cross-team transparency, identify and resolve blockers/challenges
- Who: Technical Program Manager, Engineering Managers, Product Managers, Workstream and Dependency DRIs
- When: Weekly - Tuesdays - 16:00UTC - 30 minutes
Protocells Steering Committee
- What: A weekly meeting that focuses on Protocells program strategy and direction.
- Why: Ensure alignment on program timelines, direction, and strategy.
- Who: Steering Committee Members
- When: Weekly - Mondays 16:30UTC - 30 minutes
