Relevance.ai is GitLab’s agentic AI platform for company-wide autonomous agents. It lets us build, deploy and operate agents that run on a schedule or in response to events, take multi-step actions across connected systems, and complete work end to end without a person driving each step.
When you’d reach for Relevance.ai
Reach for Relevance.ai when you want an agent to operate as GitLab rather than alongside a human. That means agents that run on their own behalf, send and act in their own identity, and work without a person in the loop.
Claude and Glean are the right choice when an agent is augmenting a person’s work, where the agent acts on behalf of a specific team member and that team member stays in the loop. Claude Managed Agents are starting to move into the same “as GitLab” space that Relevance.ai occupies, so the two platforms will likely overlap. We will pick the right one per use case as that picture evolves.
Access and engagement
Relevance.ai is not self-service today. Use cases come through Enterprise AI or your function’s AI Transformation Owner (ATO), who will scope the work with us and route it onto the platform.
